Tannehill Joins Dolphins
Give the guy his money and let him play! Ryan Tannehill joins Dolphins camp after finalizing a contract agreement that will make him a Miami Dolphin for the next four seasons. Tannehill will join Pat Devlin, David Gerrard, and Matt Moore in competing for the starting quarterback position. One that has been up for grabs since the Marino days, considering all the past suitors have been a failure.
Is Philbin the Guy?
Another story commanding Dolphins camp is whether newly hired coach Joe Philbin is simply the right man for the job. It will be interesting to see if Philbin can establish some sort of stability and consistency in a team that has lacked that winning mentality since the old mighty Don Shula retired 17 years ago. The numbers tell the tale; Joe Philbin is the team’s eighth head coach including interims since the Shula days.
Many changes are happening with our team and we’ll keep a close beat to make sure you don’t miss any of it. Meanwhile, one thing is for sure, the Miami Dolphins 2012 version is a team hungry to self-identify, and perhaps start a winning culture that this South Florida Community desperately craves.
