A Night of Bling
It was a night of bling, excitement, and rivalry Tuesday at the AAA as our Miami Heat kicked off the 2012-13 season with a much anticipated match-up versus Eastern Conference rivals, the Boston Celtics. It was a celebration all around: shiny rings, a great victory, and a rising banner reminding everyone that we are the 2012 NBA Champions! The Celtics were dominated by LeBron, Wade, and a supporting cast that seems more lethal than last year’s championship team.
It was all about Ray Allen playing against his former squad, whose move down to South Beach did not sit well with Kevin Garnett and the new look Boston Celtics. After burying his first 3-pointer on his first attempt as a Heat, he went on to finish with 19 points, shooting 5 of 7 from the floor and 2 of 3 from the long ball in 31 minutes of play. Other game notes include: DWade with 29pts, King James added 26pts and 10 rebounds before he was taken out with leg cramps and Chris Bosh added another 19pts, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Collective effort by the Heat which sealed the win.
Up next for the Heat is the New York Knicks. Our team is up in Sandy-aftermath New York City, trying to take tonight’s match-up against the Knicks. Should be a long entertaining season, there’s no rest for the most hated-loved team in the NBA. For now, enjoy the regular season created for mediocre teams that have nothing to look forward to. For us, is all about the Playoffs and Finals and our Fantastic Four who are highly favorite to repeat.
Next Home Game: Saturday, November 3rd vs the Denver Nuggets
