This year #Fordistas is disrupting Miami Art Week. During the busiest art week of the year, #Fordistas will be in three satellite locations taking part in underground and subversive exhibitions. The Rich Port Collective
Butter Gallery and Fordistas presents The Rich Port Collective. The literal English translation of Puerto Rico, this group show is a meeting place for the talent thriving from the island and displays it on the walls of Butter Gallery. Explore visual artists such as photographer Myritza Castillo haunting “Territorial Landscapes – Monuments – Series.” Curated and directed by long-time gallerist Francisco De La Torre IV, join us on Monday, December 4 for the opening reception. Fair. located in Brickell City Center is rattling the status-quo by exhibiting in a non-commercial space, with non-traditional female artists. Curated for women, Fair. will include notable works by 50 artists such as Yoko Ono and Guerrilla Girls. #Fordistas Fair. Air will broadcast from inside a container at BCC, so passersby can observe and listen to live interviews of some of Miami Art Week’s most prominent female artists. Fordistas Friends & Family Reunion
Miami Art Week is not all work and no play! Fordistas will be hosting a party with past collaborators and Puerto Rican artists Alexis Diaz and 2Alas.
