Once you’ve set your notifications and gone out on a practice hunt, you’ll come to find that the next step to actually finding the hidden cash or keys is thinking outside the box (literally and figuratively!) See, our clues are meant to keep you on your feet so if the clue seems obvious or too easy, chances are you should think about it some more.

By this time, most folks caught on to the cash being located in Pembroke Gardens, but were quick to assume “The River of Grass” meant they should look for a river or path to water. Had they thought a little more outside the box, they would have realized that it’s actually a reference to one of Florida’s most cherished books on the Everglades many of us grew up reading. Indeed, the winner found the cash box hidden at a local bookstore behind a copy of The Everglades: River of Grass by Marjory Stoneman Douglas.
