Most people love burgers and I am most definitely one of them. I love all types of burgers, spicy, cheesy, loaded with weird ingredients, or plain jane burgers. You just can’t go wrong. So when I was approached to be a judge for the upcoming Burgerlicious event, I was not only excited, I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with a cardiologist. The Burgerlicious event is put on by the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and kicks off Miami Live Music Month.
So the event itself is being held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 6pm-10pm at Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park. Tickets cost $50 for general admission and $100 for VIP. What do your tickets get you? Bueno, a general admission ticket gets you 6 ‘sliders’ and two Samuel Adams beers (one of the event’s sponsors). VIP gets you unlimited sliders, 2 beers and access to the VIP lounge. In other words, go for VIP if you want to be a complete fatass for the night. A part of the proceeds from the event are headed to the Coral Gables Community Foundation.
You may be wondering what restaurants are participating in this burgerrific event? Well there’s a whopping 20 restaurants on board waiting to battle it out to find out who is the best of the best.

If for some bizarre reason you go to a burger event and you don’t eat meat (who the heck does that?!) There will be veggie and fish alternatives available. There will also be live music on hand to help you digest and keep ya moving presented by The Stage.
So be sure to buy your tickets ASAP and if you are there be sure to say hi to me, I’ll be the gordita at the judge’s booth in a burger coma.
