The Artists of Fair. A chat with Cheryl Pope, exhibiting “A Silent I” at Miami Art Week

Cheryl Pope is ehibiting “A Silent I” at Fair.

Fair. is an all-female, noncommercial art fair featuring some of the world’s most iconic and trailblazing women artists. Fair. aims to address gender inequality in the art world and beyond. Vogue named it the top-choice for must-see installations running concurrent to Art Basel, you don’t want to miss this one.

Cheryl is an interdisciplinary visual artist focused on confronting the politics of identity as it relates to the individual and the community at large.

Her work questions and responds to issues of race, gender, class, history, power and place.

She considers listening to be the most political act and the foundation of her practice.

Please enjoy this conversation hosted by Cris Ramos and recorded live at Fair.

Fordistas, the podcast is a series bringing to life the stories of artists, makers and innovators showing their work in South Florida and changing our cultural landscape.
