Hello Fordistas! I hope November is treating you well and you’re getting ready for Art Basel!

Friday Nov. 15 I’ll be heading to the South Miami Dade Cultural Center in Cutler Ridge for the launch of the Black Creek Nights, an event that will showcase the best sounds of Miami in this amazing new performing arts center. I will be hosting the event and will do a DJ set on the patio. I am happy to see music expanding all the way to the Homestead area and to be able to bring entertainment to all of the South Dade community.

Also on Friday Nov. 15, Big Night in Little Haiti is presenting the legendary Haitian group RAM. The Rhythm Foundation is doing a fantastic job of making this concert series, one of the richest ones in South Florida.

Saturday Nov. 16, LAB Miami is hosting Miami Mini Maker Faire, an event that will connect innovators, crafters and the Miami DYI community. This makes me happy and will definitely support the Made in Miami community!

We are very happy that Grand Central is bringing Os Mutantes to Miami on November 17th. Credited with the amazing “Tropicalia” and Psychedelic Brazilian rock, Os Mutantes will make this Sunday an unforgettable one.

The Miami Book Fair is back Nov. 17 – 24th in Downtown Miami. This year they are celebrating Spain at this amazing event that has been running for 30 years! They are bringing Dan Brown, the author of  The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons for the annual event.

Also happening this weekend is the Miami Short Film Festival running from Nov.8-15th  at the Paragon Grove 13 theater in Coconut Grove.

If you haven’t been to the Miami Int. Auto Show you have until Nov. 17 to check out amazing beauties and innovation in cars.
